Construction of grouting sleeve for steel bar connection -- full grouting sleeve

The grouting sleeve for steel bar connection developed by our company is mainly composed of grouting sleeve, reinforcement, high-strength mortar (or grouting material), sealing ring, end cover, grouting pipe (optional), plug and rubber plunger (accessories for positioning during installation).

Reinforcement selection:

● meet the requirements of GB 1499.2 and GB 13014;

● the diameter of reinforcement is 20-40mm, which shall be purchased according to the specification of engineering design;

There are three grades of steel bar grades: HRB335, HRB400 and HRB500, and HRB400 is commonly used.

The strength grade of grouting sleeve produced by our company is not lower than the steel bar grade HRB400.

Brief analysis of accessories:

● grouting pipe

One end of the pipe is designed to be connected with the sleeve by thread, and the inner hole is not less than 15mm. One pipe is designed on both sides of the sleeve, one is used for grouting and the other is used for grouting. The size of the two pipes is the same.

● plug

The plug is made of rubber, which is used to block the grouting pipe before and after grouting, to prevent impurities and concrete from entering the pipe before grouting, and to prevent the leakage of high-strength mortar that has been poured into the sleeve after grouting.

Sealing ring

The sealing ring is generally made of rubber. The conical sealing ring is convenient for steel bar alignment and installation. It is installed at the embedded end of the sleeve to prevent concrete from entering the sleeve during prefabrication.

● end cover

The end cover is generally made of rubber. The design size of the end cover is larger than the outer diameter of the grouting sleeve. The inner hole is closely matched with the threaded reinforcement. It is installed on the end face of the grouting sleeve when splicing to prevent the concrete from entering the sleeve when the cushion mortar is poured.

Rubber plunger

The rubber plunger is a positioning and sealing device composed of cylindrical rubber ring, bolt, nut and pressing plate. It is used to position the grouting sleeve on the end template and realize sealing, so as to prevent the concrete from entering the sleeve during concrete pouring. After the concrete is hardened, it can be removed when the bottom formwork is removed. The rubber plunger is not a part of the structural connection and can be used repeatedly.
